After using Osmo oil finishes, we recommend using Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner to clean any application tools and brushes.
What is Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner?
The product is a white spirit that has had aromatic compounds, such as orange oils and turpentine oils removed. Benzene often found in regular white spirit has also been removed.
The result is a slightly more pleasant-smelling product to use, as well as being better suited to those allergic to oils found within regular white spirit.
To clean your tools and brushes after use, it helps to soak these in the Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner for 1-2 hours, then dry them with a cloth.
Then, immediately wash your tools and brushes with warm soapy water before allowing them to dry in a well-ventilated area.
Please Note: Always wash out any cloths impregnated with oil product immediately after use or store them in an airtight container (danger of self-ignition).
