Since Osmo products have been developed to penetrate the wood, it will not be able to do so through a silicone sealant. Due to high repellence offered, many silicone sealants may not bond correctly to an Osmo Oil finish. Carrying out tester trials with sealants is highly recommended first.
Alternatively, an acrylic sealant such as Osmo Gap Sealer (for interior) is suitable for use in combination with Osmo products.
