No. The dried finish of Polyx-Oil is classified as B2 (normal flammability) according to DIN 4102 regulations. Which simply means the speed of the surface spread of flame is not increased, nor decreased in the event of a flame.
OrganoWood provide a fire retardant 01. Flame & Rot Protection which offers flame resistance in accordance to EN13501-1 and has been tested in accordance with BS476 Part 7 and the result was a Class 3 spread of rating. OrganoWood 01. Flame & Rot Protection can be purchased here.
