Fastest Drying Finish

We all know that time equals money. As a professional, when working on a flooring project, you want to be able to get in and out of the job pretty quickly, as this means that you can swiftly move onto the next job.

And as consumers, you want a floor finish that dries quickly so that within a matter of hours, life can go back to normal – you can move the furniture back, the pets can come back in and the kids can continue running around.

However, no matter whether you are a flooring contractor or consumer, you do also want to complete the project to a high standard, not jeopardising the finish because you are moving too quickly.

It is for this reason that Osmo UK introduced Polyx®-Oil Express, a premium fast drying wood finish that is guaranteed to keep wooden surfaces in top condition.

Polyx®-Oil Express offers flooring contractors, specifiers, DIY enthusiasts and consumers with a solution that eliminates long downtime, whilst still providing all the professional features of a traditional oil-based finish. Aimed for use on solid wood and plank wood flooring, blackstrip, OSB and cork floors, as well as furniture, is available in a clear-satin finish for a subtle, noble shimmer that resembles satin and emphasises the wood grain modestly, and a clear-matt finish for an almost completely natural look, with light reflections diffused.

It is the fastest drying product that Osmo UK has ever created. It dries between 1 – 2 hours between coats when used with the Osmo UK 6632 Hardener, or between 3 – 4 hours without the hardener. To apply, simply mix the hardener into the finish and then apply two coats thinly along the wood grain with a natural bristle brush or microfibre roller. Brush on to the wood surface to achieve deep, long-lasting penetration.

Based on natural ingredients, Polyx®-Oil Express is a high quality, water-repellent and dirt-resistant wood finish, meaning that it is suitable for us in any room in a commercial or residential property.
