A reference on this site to any Osmo-Pro person, products, web sites or services implies an endorsement or recommendation only by Osmo UK and does not accept liability or responsibility for the services and workmanship provided. All copyright to Osmo UK publications and their contents is vested in Osmo UK unless stated otherwise. Although Osmo UK has used its reasonable endeavours in compiling these publications it does not guarantee nor shall it be responsible for reliance upon the contents of the publications and shall not be liable for any false, inaccurate or incomplete information. 1. Information about us:
a. We are Woodex Ltd trading as Osmo UK, a company registered in England under company number: 2463568 registered at 5-11 Mortimer Street, London, W1N 7RH. We operate from our offices at Unit 24, Anglo Business Park, Smeaton Close, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP19 8UP. 2. How we use your personal information:
a. Your personal information is only supplied to us via the Osmo-Pro application form (www.osmouk.com/beanosmopro.cfm) whereby you manually type in your contact information and provide us with any further information that you feel may be necessary to your application.
b. The information supplied to us is checked for approval and successful applicants are listed on our ‘Find an Osmo-Pro’ web page for the visitors of our website to be able to contact you for your services. The information supplied to us from unsuccessful applicants is not listed but is kept privately and securely for a maximum of two years and is not shared with any third party.
c. We may need to disclose personal information at the request of the governmental or law enforcement agencies. We will only further share your information only with other companies or individuals when we have your valid and prior consent to do so.
3. The training we provide:
a. The training is provided by an Osmo Holz und Color GmbH & Co. KG technician on behalf of Osmo UK and is intended for Osmo-Pro applicants and members to develop knowledge of the Osmo product range as well as learn the most advantageous methods and techniques to therefore improve the quality of workmanship.
b. There are no applicable fees for successful applicants for the Osmo-Pro scheme.
c. For non-applicants of the Osmo-Pro scheme there is a £25.00 fee which is to be paid prior to attendance of training on a proforma term basis. Unless explicitly stated, travel and subsistence are not included in the applicable fees. Osmo UK reserves the right to update or adjust the fees, inclusions and content of the training courses from time to time as it sees fit. Unless otherwise specified, VAT shall be additionally applicable to any stated fees.
d. Reservations cannot be confirmed until payment of any applicable fees in full (or a deposit amount where this has been expressly specified by Osmo UK) has been received.
e. Confirmation of allotted placement shall we sent within seven (7) working days of receipt of application and full fee (or the deposit, as the case may be). Osmo UK reserves the right to decline registration of any applicant as its absolute discretion and shall refund any applicable fees received in such an instance.
f. In the event Osmo UK elects to accept a late registration, payment of any applicable fees must be received in full prior to attendance of the training.
g. Unless otherwise specified all training courses are to be held at the Osmo UK site in Aylesbury, UK. Should Osmo UK to provide the training at your premises or at a location you organise, you shall ensure a safe working environment in compliance with applicable law and you shall ensure the provision of all facilities as Osmo UK may reasonable speficy. Osmo UK shall advise any important information or changes including venue location at least seven (7) days before the event.
h. Osmo UK reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the training at its absolute discretion, and in such case shall give as much notice as reasonably practicable. Should Osmo UK cancel the programme, an alternative date will be offered or a full refund of any applicable fees will be made but Osmo UK shall not be liable for any other costs or losses incurred.
i. Osmo UK shall deliver the training course in accordance with its promoted description using reasonable skill and care but makes no warranty in respect of any outcomes or results.
j. All handouts, products, materials and examinations provided to you in advance of, or during, the course are intellectual property of Osmo UK and shall not be copied by you or used except in accordance with the intended purpose and all materials shall be maintained in confidence and not disclosed or sold to third parties except with Osmo UK’s advance permission. Handouts and materials must be returned to Osmo UK should Osmo UK specifically request.
k. Qualifications or certificates gained through the successful completion of Osmo UK training and examinations may be subject to a limited validity period.
l. Except for death or personal injury caused by Osmo UK’s negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot be limited by law, the entire liability of Osmo UK under or in connection with the contract shall not exceed the amount which has actually been paid by you to Osmo UK for the course. Osmo UK shall have no liability for delay or failure to perform any of its obligations arising from any event beyond its reasonable control nor shall Osmo UK have any liability in any case for any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill or for any indirect or consequential losses.
m. You shall do not do anything to bring Osmo UK into disrepute and shall not use the names of, or suggest or imply an association with Osmo, Osmo UK, Osmo Holz und Color or any other name, brand or mark used by Osmo UK except where Osmo UK has explicitly stated or provided its prior written consent and in such instances only in accordance with the guidelines or requirements specified by Osmo UK.
n. For cancellations made in writing the following refunds will apply:
– Over 28 days before the event, a full refund of applicable course fees.
– 14 to 28 days before the event, a 50% refund of applicable course fees.
– 14 or days or less before the event, no refund.
4. Osmo-Pro Starter Kit:
a. Members of Osmo-Pro scheme are provided with an ‘Osmo-Pro Starter Kit’ after the completion of a training course provided by Osmo UK.
b. The Osmo-Pro Starter Kit is provided by Osmo UK and consists of the following items:
– 1 x Osmo Floor Brush 220mm [BRUSH220]
– 1 x Osmo Mini Roller & Brush Set [ROLLERSET/S]
– *1 x Osmo Polyx®-Oil Clear Satin 2.5L [3032D]
– *An alternative can of 2.5L can be arranged in replacement of 3032D only and is subject to availability on the day of the training course and must not exceed the value of this product unless agreed with Osmo UK.
c. The Osmo-Pro Starter Kit is to be claimed by you after successful completion of the training course provided by Osmo UK. It is your responsibility to ensure you receive the Osmo-Pro Starter Pack from Osmo UK.
d. No responsibility can be accepted by Osmo UK for any items are lost or damaged after receiving the Osmo-Pro Starter Pack.
e. In the event you are unsatisfied with any of the items from the Starter Pack, this must be informed at the time of receiving and no later.
f. No refunds, credits or replacements are given for the contents of the Osmo-Pro Starter Kit.
