Osmo moves in with the Royal Family
At Osmo, we are proud to announce that our wood finishing products have been used by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers on a gift for Royal Family member Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. The English charity for the furniture industry created a children‘s table and four chairs. To ensure the wood surface is both safe and colourful, the children’s wooden furniture has been coated with the Wood Wax Finish.
Children‘s furniture should be of high quality, therefore the finishing product should be hardwearing and completely free of harmful substances. When selecting the wood finish for Princess Charlotte’s furniture, the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers chose Osmo exactly for these reasons!

Designer Steuart Padwick wanted bright colours to help inspire Princess Charlotte’s creativity to draw, paint and play at her table. To match the colour specification, we were able to provide custom colour tones from RAL and NSC colour charts.
All of our wood finishes are based on natural oils and waxes. The natural colour pigments found in the finishes are also approved for the food industry and free of hazardous heavy metals and contaminants.
