Osmo prides itself on the continual use of sustainable materials and supporting the management of our planet’s forests. This is why Osmo is certified in two instances for its use of wood within the company, via Germany and the brand ESCO wood flooring.
Meeting European Standards
The dry finish of Osmo products fulfils both the European Standard DIN EN 71.3 (suitable for children’s toys) and DIN 53160 (DIN 53160-1 resistant to silva and DIN 53160-2 resistant to perspiration).
Achieving these European Standards is the upmost importance to ensure Osmo wood finishes, once dry, are safe for humans, animals, and plants!
Operations & Environmental Systems
As a company, Osmo are in accordance with, and certified to:
- DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 (Quality management systems)
- 14001 (environmental management systems)
Meeting these regulations demonstrates Osmo is a responsible manufacturer of wood and wood finishes. As a company, we are continually committed to developing ourselves and the products to meet both the ecological and economical challenges which we are faced with currently.
Ethical Accreditation
Osmo has been awarded the Ethical Accreditation by The Good Shopping Guide.
Osmo has received an excellent Good Shopping Guide ethical score of 100 in the Ethical Paint Ratings Table and therefore passes The Good Shopping Guide ethical benchmark with flying colours.
